R3FORM Fest @ Tzamaika
R3FORM Fest hosts 3 of the most upcoming bands of Rethymnon! Sunday 21 July Gemma, Hydra and Dot On Earth join forces on the Tzamaika stage for a unique and special show. Psychedelia, darkwave atmosphere, breakbeat rhythms and dance in one of the most must watch live shows in town.

GEMMA
Gemma is one of the most upcoming acts in the Greek music scene. Their first LP is called Gemma, released in 2021 and includes 8 tracks having received fantastic reviews from press, blogs and radio stations around the world. Their second LP was released in 2024 and is called Dromoi. With a mood that is danceable, atmospheric and sometimes dark, and features such as Marios Davelis (Fundracar) and Miss Zebra, Gemma are moving in new directions, with a desire for extroversion and experimentation.
DOT ON EARTH
Dot on Earth, an electronic duo from Rethymno, consisting of Mihalis Flouris and OnAxis, will drag us with their synths and groove boxes into a world of improvisation. With respect to synth wave, dark wave and breakbeat music, they will create an atmosphere full of musical expression on their updated material.
HYDRA
HYΔRA was formed in Rethymno in the autumn of 2022. The name of the band comes from the microorganism “hydra” that lives in lakes and rivers and is a mystery to scientists because of its ability to regenerate. Costa Costantino (bass, vocals), Christos Mandalis (composition, programming) and Panos Georgalis (guitars, reverb, effects) formed the band in order to blend various musical forms creating a special musical amalgam, creating HYΔRA! In the spring of 2024, Eleni Albandaki voluntarily dives into the wet realm of hydra. She dives in reciting dystopian poems with her wonderful voice. Her lyrics were eventually HYDRA’s songs, she just didn’t know it… HYDRA’s music is electronic, ritualistic, sometimes dancing with 90’s nostalgia, sometimes atmospheric that “gets mixed” with dark poems and images from the future.
